Learning to use the potty is a new and sometimes scary adventure for kids. The purpose of a children's potty book is to introduce them to the idea, help them understand what to do, reassure them if they have any fear or anxiety, and get them excited about potty training!!! Potty books also have the important job of entertaining children while they sit on the potty and learn what to do! There are tons of potty books for kids out there, and most of them fulfill these basic requirements. Choosing the book that is right for your child comes down to personal preference for both you and your child, so just pick one that seems engaging for your child and give it a try! Many parents report that they end up using more than one potty book throughout the training process. One book may seem right at the beginning of the 'potty journey' while another one may seem more appropriate as your child gets a little older or becomes more skilled at using the potty. It's always helpful to see which books other parents liked or disliked, which is why we surveyed over 100 parents to find out which potty books were their favorites! |
